These photos capture two stages of the process: a community member carefully attaching new coral fragments to a reef star during our June installation , alongside the encouraging growth on reef stars installed in January.
They show a glimpse of what newly installed coral fragments can become with time , care and regular monitoring. Our team will continue tracking their survival and growth , with communities playing an important role in restoring and caring for their reefs.
We look forward to seeing these little coral fragments grow.
