Effective humanitarian response depends on well-coordinated supply chains and efficient logistics operations.
The Humanitarian Logistics and Warehousing Training continued with sessions on transport and fleet management, warehousing and inventory management, procurement and compliance, and logistics information systems to support the timely and efficient delivery of essential supplies during disaster response.
The Ministry acknowledges and sincerely appreciates the support of SPC, PIEMA, and the Pacific Humanitarian Warehouse Programme (PHWP), and RedR Australia in delivering this important capacity building, as well as the commitment and participation of all agencies and partners contributing their knowledge and expertise.
