THE FIRST PROJECT BOARD MEETING HELD FOR THE GEF-8 BLUE AND GREEN ISLANDS INTEGRATED PROGRAM – COASTAL RESILIENCE SAMOA PROJECT – JULY 15, 2026

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) successfully convened the inaugural Project Board Meeting for the GEF-8 Blue and Green Islands Integrated Programme (BGI-IP) – Coastal Resilience Samoa (CRS) Project on 15 July 2026.

The meeting brought together Project Board members and key stakeholders to review the project’s progress, endorse its governance arrangements, and discuss the 2026 Annual Work Plan and priority implementation activities.

The Ministry extends its sincere appreciation to the UNDP, project partners, and Project Board members for their continued collaboration and commitment to strengthening Samoa’s coastal resilience and advancing sustainable development.
