These advancements mark an important step in strengthening Samoaโ€™s weather monitoring systems and climate resilience efforts.
๐Ÿ”ธ ๐Ÿ”ธThe celebrations continued with the Meteorology Services Exhibition Day, where students and members of the public explored historical meteorological artefacts, weather instruments, forecasting technologies, satellite systems, and interactive demonstrations showcasing Samoaโ€™s evolving climate and weather services.
๐Ÿ”ธ ๐Ÿ”ธThe evening shifted focus to empowering the next generation through the Youth and Climate Action Program at the Robert Louis Stevenson School Museum, Vailima. Highlights of the program included the launch of the Tuutuu Laau Faamanuiti Environment Youth Engagement Framework and the National Adaptation Plan, reaffirming Samoaโ€™s commitment to strengthening youth participation and climate resilience efforts. The program also featured certificate presentations, youth reflections, and the unveiling of the Samoa Environment Youth Engagement Program Theme Song, reinforcing the vital role of young people in shaping Samoaโ€™s environmental future.
