πŸ”» The day began at Taumeasina Island Resort with the official launch of key national policies, plans, and initiatives, including disaster management frameworks, the MNRE Plastic Free Policy, and the J-PRISM 3 Household Waste Segregation Project. Activities continued with School Educational Awareness Tours, the Tsunami Drill for the Upolu South East Coast districts of Aleipata, Lepa, and Lotofaga, the Samoa National Write-shop on the Proposed Treaty on the Protection of Persons in the Event of Disasters (PPED), and concluded with the launch of the Tsunami Ready Programme.
