UNDP in Samoa, Cook Islands, Tokelau & Niue

Afioga Ulu Bismarck Crawley, CEO and the Resident Representative of UNDP Samoa, Jorn Sorensen, finally signed the Third National Communication(3NC)& First Biennial Update Report (BUR)Project documents today.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Samoa, Ulu Bismarck Crawley, and the Resident Representative of UNDP Samoa, Jorn Sorensen, signed the 3NC & BUR Project Document in a brief ceremony at the OneUN House, Tuanaimato.

The signing of this agreement signals the start of the new Third National Communication (3NC) and First Biennial Update Report (BUR) Project.
The project focuses on climate change & aims to assist in the preparation and submission of its Third National Communication and First Biennial Update Report towards the fulfillment of its obligations under the United Nations Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC).
