The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), through its \"\ud83d\udca6\"<\/span> Water Resources Division, welcomed representatives from across the water sector to the National Hydrological Diagnostic Assessment Workshop \"\ud83e\udd1d\"<\/span>\"\ud83d\udcca\"<\/span>, an opportunity to take stock of Samoa’s hydrological services, exchange technical expertise \"\ud83e\udde0\"<\/span>, and identify practical priorities for strengthening the country’s water information systems. \"\ud83c\udf0f\"<\/span>\"\ud83d\udca7\"<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Throughout the workshop, participants exchanged knowledge \"\ud83d\udcda\"<\/span>, shared practical experiences \"\ud83e\udd1d\"<\/span>, and explored ways to strengthen hydrological monitoring \"\ud83d\udce1\"<\/span>, data management \"\ud83d\udcbb\"<\/span>, and information services that support water security \"\ud83d\udca6\"<\/span>, disaster preparedness \"\ud83c\udf2a\ufe0f\"<\/span>, and climate resilience \"\ud83c\udf3f\"<\/span>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The discussions also highlighted the importance of strong partnerships \"\ud83e\udd1d\"<\/span> and coordinated action in ensuring Samoa’s hydrological services continue to evolve \"\ud83d\udcc8\"<\/span> to meet emerging environmental \"\ud83c\udf31\"<\/span> and development challenges. The outcomes of today\u2019s workshop \"\ud83d\udcdd\"<\/span> will assist in the development of the National Hydrological Services Roadmap for Samoa \"\ud83d\uddfa\ufe0f\"<\/span> and ultimately contribute to the development of a Regional Hydrological Services Strategy \"\ud83c\udf0f\"<\/span>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
