The community of Maasina, Fagaloa hosted a four-day program (Initial Consultation and a 3 day Participatory 3Dimensional Modeling Workshop) conducted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) through its Water Resources Division (WRD). The main objective of this partnership is to recognize and incorporate community perspectives, experiences and knowledge into the formulation of Watershed Management Plans and village by-laws for the protection and management of Maasina’s water resources. This was followed by the construction of a P3D model of the village’s catchment landscapes.
